LOOSE WEIGHT EATING BISCUITS

Was watching a play about weightwatchers and eating biscuits when I remembered the ‘go ahead’ range by Sainsburys.

Ordered a selection the other day and we got really lucky because the range is back in stock.

They have 2 varieties one looks like garibaldi biscuits and the other are a biscuit bar in a packet.

Go ahead fruit slices

There are 3 flavours, (including raspberry and apple). We tried forest fruit first, the verdict was great, ‘you wouldn’t think it was a diet biscuit’.

They are 54 calories each, but come in a tempting bag of three.

They do contain sugar, so probably not for people like mad Lizzie.

As I don’t have a sweet tooth, the sugar doesn’t pose a problem for me.

Can actually recommend these as I have lost weight on them before, used to put them in my pack lunch.

They are a good source of fibre, so healthy as well as a treat.

If you are a sugar-aholic probably better to avoid these or do the one square of dark chocolate a day diet.

I would rather have fruit than chocolate. Also probably won’t eat the biscuits every day, just when I feel like them.

The other biscuit we found was Fruit and oat bakes

Really liked these, nice for after a walk on a cold winter day with a cup of coffee or tea.

GOLDEN BAKED OATY BARS WITH A FRUIT FLAVOURED FILLING – SOURCE OF FIBRE!
We believe that snacking doesn’t have to be dull or complicated.
That’s why we are committed here at Go Ahead to create delicious fruity snacks, to bring a little smile to your day.

These will keep us going till proper food comes back.

Melba toasts

Remembered loosing weight on these before as well.

They taste like savoury biscuits and are ridicolously low calorie;

If your not into this type of food fair enough. Have to admit I get bored just eating vegetables. It is good to vary your diet a bit anyway. If it helps me control my weight not bothered about it being packet food.

Also find it boring cooking all the time.

Possibly have an aquired taste for vending machine soup now due to my childhood, (The soup was the best option), just remembered we had beef and onion rolls as well, that was quite nice, we can’t get roast beef anymore. We are still getting Mcdonalds, thank god for Mcdonalds.

Hope these ideas help.

Great when you want to be a piglet and pig out, but not put any weight on.

Great cheat tip if your bored of’ ‘the perfect people’ health food diet!!!

film about extreme weight loss techniques

Wrote this blog to access the calories quickly instead of struggling to read packets.

The more you memorise calories the more they stick anyway.

At the moment we struggle to get any food, so these items are ‘food’, if food ever comes back will definately still have cup a soup and will definately have products from the go ahead range.

Not having sugar works best when you are at your ideal weight or have your last few pounds to loose in my humble opinion.

If you are addicted to sugary snacks going cold turkey might be a bit harsh. These ideas are a softer option.

What I might do is balance my sugar out a bit more, not sure if I will come off it all together, but might do. Like I said earlier, we are just desperate for food at the moment, so this is offering a bit of variety for us.

If you fancy trying any of this –

enjoy!!!
