Love this classic 60’s air hostess look. On their way to Hell house.

Think this dress or top and skirt may be Ozzy Clarke or inspired by him. He was a designer we would all be shopping for if it was the 70’s now. Don’t know a lot about him but my friends husband collected second hand pieces, don’t think there are any left now. I don’t like second hand anyway for various reasons. Think this dress may still work today without looking like a fancy dress outfit.

DRESS IN A PAINTING SIMILAR TO ONE IN THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE

A famous painting of Ozzy Clarke and his wife by David Hockney, this reminds me of the dress in the legend of hell house. The one below is softer and more fluid, so I guess the one in the film is just inspired. This is why good designers need to come back. Their influence means people who aren’t rolling in money can enjoy fashion as well. Fashion isn’t as important as a lot of things in life, but now it is gone the majority of people are in rags. It isn’t just about the colours or looking the best, it is about designing clothes that fit people properly, the 3d skills of a designer like Ozzy Clarke.

She is wearing it with a little jacket, skirt and loafer shoes, (as she is tall she can pull this look off, I would need heels probably). This version is mohair in soft grey.

Review

This is in my favourite film club. I’m not a critic but love these style of 70’s horror films.

They used to air on BBC at the weekend late at night. This is where I first saw this. That was why I got a you tube, trying to make my own entertainment as T.V. went rubbish, (ballroom dancing and x factor) why?. Then decided not to go digital as people said it was worse.

Really relieved Archive.org is there now you tube is expecting us to pay so much per year?

This problem started when they changed to c.d.s from records. If they had charged the same price as records it wouldn’t of caused a problem.

Luckily Amazon saved the day there.

Guess us little people just go on surviving because there is nothing else we can do really.
