Film fashion/ love lessons

Discovered Patty Duke films recently on youtube and have joined her fan club.

Some of her films are feel-good and have a hidden treasure idea.

This one is scrapbooking and teddy bears.

Quite like this scrapbook – still want to learn how to do this. Patty Duke makes it look easy.

Bought one a few weeks back from Hobbycraft

Just noticed this has sold out, so purchased a new one today.

All this came to £35. Quite good value as I’m just experimenting.

Found these teddy bears on a Google search

These are so cute. I’m getting them to start a collection, but you could give them as christmas presents or give them out at childrens parties etc. Watching another film at the moment with china dolls, want to collect those too. Then you sit them all on a chair or window seat.

Found these today for babies

I opted for this one this year

Double breasted Jacket, chinos and loafers

I really like this double-breasted jacket Patty is wearing. Would have to opt for different colours as I’m winter, but the colours suit her colouring. It is a regulated size, so is a comfortable fit without being oversized. Would need shoes with arches, in a bit of pain at the moment from wearing some flat shoes while my sketchers dry. If you have high arches don’t buy flat shoes.

Had one like this in Fuscia Pink, and loved it. Didn’t realise it was winter colours back then.

The photographs below are a wordpress gallery of The Working Wardrobe look.

This look empowered women in the buisness world so they were taken seriously by men and gained equality. It is also very practical and comfortable to wear.

Love Lessons (2000)

film synopsis

Sunny and Mick are ready for a peaceful retirement, that is until Sunny becomes pregnant. As they navigate the pitfalls of raising a child in their 50s, Mick wonders if he wants to be a dad again.

review

Really enjoyed this film. The same thing happened to the mum of one of my friends at school, not sure they really wanted another child at their age as they already had a son and daughter. Looking back that is why I like Avon, M & S toiletries and plants and Mills and Boon romance books. Her mum introduced me to them. She was from a bygone generation to my mum.

I still like all that stuff now, whereas my mum doesn’t.

My friend was an Avon rep with a plastic clutch bag book of perfumes and lipstick colours, we had a brilliant time as we could try out the whole catalogue. Think her mum had trained her.

We played cards with her elderly Aunt and Uncle also. They were card-playing pros.

Enjoy these films as they bring back memories I had forgotten.

Hope you enjoy this film and the film fashion from it.
