This film made me want to do something about how I looked. It is so easy to stop trying, but is is equally easy to set up a home spa.

This film is about expensive plastic surgeory, but these days cheaper more affordable options can actually work.

If your against plastic surgeory and non evasive options, this film might not be for you.

After many years of marriage Ken and Barbara decide to change their way of living radically. In order to become more attractive they submit themselves not only under modern diets and physical education but also try plastic surgery.

When it got to the after bit, I started to want to look better.

Stone washed denim is 80’s, but think the 80’s is back?

The pink nails are quite stunning too.

Barbara looks so hot at the disco, it made me want to put some effort in to my post covid look.

Silver is winter colours. This dress isn’t the oversized or ballroom dancing look of the moment, unfortunately that is all there is. Used to always buy a silver dress for christmas. Maybe something similar will turn up.

Do you have to relate to an actress to like them or copy them?

I would argue no!!!

Love this film and I’m obviously not tall or blonde.

(Actually Lauren is 1.69 m – just looked it up, always thought she was really tall for some reason).

For fashion to work, the look should work on everyone in my opinion. You have to play around with styles and colours, but there should be something within a seasons fashion trend for everyone. This is what fashion means

Watched the film again to see what the message in this film is.

Basically it is two good people who get sucked into the health, fitness and youth market.

In the end they seem to wish they had never started.

Not sure what my opinions of it all are, but I’d rather get lots of walks, healthy food and so forth without going to extremes.

Love this film, really inspired me to start making more of an effort than I was. Even though they regret what they did, they look better than at the beginning.

Ankle boot, lace tights and short skirt look

Noticed Lauren modelling these ankle boots with lacy tights and a short skirt. Never thought of trying this look before. Quite useful idea as I can’t purchase my knee boot style at the moment. Just need to style it in winter colours.
