Feel fairly confident to write this blog as I can sell the actual film. It doesn’t break copywrite rules then, I don’t think anyway?
This film is brilliant and I am a massive fan of both Elizabeth Taylor and Kim Novak.
Last year I discovered broaches can be used to style dresses.
Kim novak has used the trick on an oversized pink dress, the results are a stunning outfit and it led to a pink versace dress.

Elizabeth Taylor/film fashion
One year later and I discover Elizabeth Taylor is modelling a broach similar to the celtic broach I discovered the other day.

Elizabeth looks stunning in lavender to match her beautiful eyes.
She doesn’t need to use the broach to take in the dress, so she has styled it on her shoulder.
If I find this outfit I will add it to this blog, but I’d put the broach in the middle to hold it in, or play around with it or maybe purchase two broaches.
Would need to source a lavender broach for this look.
USING BROACHES AND PINS TO STYLE CLOTHES/asda alter neck dress
last night I was browsing pinterest dresses when I discovered some sequinned dresses at asda that reminded me of the film scandal.

I love this film for every reason; it is well acted, great story, brilliantly filmed, great theme song and brilliant fashion. Realise I relate to Joanne Whalley who plays the true life character Christine keeler. She is smaller than Bridget Fonda, but still gets to wear stunning outfits and be classed as attractive.
Another reason why I got into film fashion. As I’m not tall, I can’t relate to models, so I always wait to see how pop stars or actresses model clothes to work out what to buy in the shops.
As dresses are oversized at the moment I realised last night you could pin the sequinned asda dress with the celtic broach if it is too big. The other thing to do would be to tuck it in some oversized trousers or alter it into a top. If you are lucky it might fit you.

This dress comes in three colours, blue, silver and black.
Perfect for christmas and only £30.00, not too bad a price to pay at the moment. I’m not as daft as I’m cabbage looking. There is no point spending thousands of pounds at the moment on clothes that are too big. Once the fashion changes I’m happy to pay for something that fits properly, until then I still want to purchase clothes, but will be a bit more canny.
This goes really well with the celtic broach.
To be honest asda is so good value and quality I would imagine millionaires probably shop there who want to keep their money.
Shopping for seasonal colours
Realise I’m starting to focus on winter colours. If your not winter colours, the link below leads to more party dresses in other colours.

The dresses are all great value, you just need to use your imagination and be inventive at the moment.
If you are going to a snobby party, No one need know where you bought it from anyway.
Another trick is to dress it with a designer broach, then they would be tricked into thinking the whole outfit was designer. That would shut them up.
