celtic broach shopping expedition

I say expedition as it is a pretty saturated market. Not that easy a journey.

After wading through broach shops all day, thought I’d share my findings with fellow explorers of celtic jewellery.

I opted for two shops and was drawn to dance broaches as oppose to traditional ones.

Would still like to purchase the traditional ones, but not in the market for antiques.

The first shop was:

the tartan weaving mill based in Edinburgh.

I chose two dancers broaches, one in cerise and one in emerald. Really like the packaging as well. Would make a really nice gift, especially for someone struggling with oversized clothes, you might have to share the trick with them, like the versace broaches lol!!!!

The next shop was:

highland xpress

opted for their dance broach in 3 different colours

puchased ruby, saphire and amethyst.

Quite liked some of their other products also, pinned them on pinterest for you.

Quite pleased with these, should go well with cowel necked jumpers and oversized jumpers.

Hope this inspires you.
