After finding the facts on film blogging, have decided to do it properly.
The person who sent me the copywrite info didn’t say who the author was so I can’t blog the info.
To do a film blog properly there seems to be 3 options.
- Join a stock photo website, the good ones are really expensive and the free ones don’t seem to stock film photos.
- Ask the person if you can use their google image in your blog. (This is the route I think I would take if I do this), Just not sure where you get their address?
- Don’t use any photos. Just write. Would also use this option.
Copywrite of film fashion itself.
The other thing I realise is copywrite will exist on some of the costumes as some are made by designers such as versace and even the costume designers may have used copywrite.
FILM INSPIRED
If I continue with film blogging my ideas will be film inspired but not blatently copied.
What started as a bit of fun is getting technical.
This morning felt like giving up, but was sort of getting into it.
Think I will continue when I have done more research.
The whole idea is meant as a homage to actors and films so I think I would get the go ahead to use the google images.
Hopefully this helps you if you are wondering about google images too.
