1/2 GREEN PEPPER, CHOPPED
4oz (100g) CANNED TOMATOES WITH JUICE
5 TABLESPOONS OF TOMATO JUICE
SALT AND PEPPER
1/2 OR 1 TEASPOON CHILLE POWDER
3/4 TEASPOON VINEGAR
2 TEASPOONS TOMATO PUREE
3 OZ (75G) COOKED KIDNEY BEANS – CANNED OR SOAKED OVERNIGHT AND PRE – COOKED
2 BRAN CRISP CRISPBREADS
METHOD
COOK THE MINCE OR QUORN OVER A GENTLE HEAT UNTILL LIGHTLY BROWNED.
ADD THE ONION AND PEPPER AND COOK FOR 5 MINUTES.
ADD TOMATOES, TOMATO JUICE, CHILE POWDER, VINEGAR AND TOMATO PUREE.
MIX WELL, COVER AND SIMMER FOR 20 MINUTES.
MIX IN THE KIDNEY BEANS AND COOK FOR A FURTHER 5 MINUTES.
